Why cantilever

Storage for anything long

Cantilever rack has no front columns. Arms reach out from a row of towers, so long items such as lumber, pipe, tubing and bar stock can be loaded from the side by forklift without fitting between uprights.

Our cantilever is built from structural I-beam and bolted together. Arms move on 4" centers, towers are punched on both sides for single- or double-sided rows, and the rack can be used indoors or outside.

What a run needs

Towers, bases, arms for each level, and X braces and straight braces between towers. Anchors and bolts are in the hardware section.

Arm capacity

Every arm size lists its rated capacity per arm with the load spread evenly. Choose an arm rated above your heaviest load.

Tower spacing

Braces are sized for tower spacing from 32" to 96" on center. Spacing changes the capacity of the run; we check it against your loads.

What do I need for a cantilever rack?
Towers (uprights), bases, arms for every level, and X braces and straight braces between the towers. Floor anchors and nuts and bolts are sold separately. Send us what you store and we will list every part on one quote.
Single or double sided?
Our towers are punched on both sides. Single-sided rack suits runs along a wall; double-sided rack, with arms on both faces, suits a center row with an aisle on each side.
How do I choose arm length?
Match the arm to the depth of what you store, so nothing hangs past the end. Longer arms of the same section carry less weight, so check the capacity column for your load.
Can arm levels be changed later?
Yes. Arms bolt to the tower on 4" centers, so you can move them as your products change.
Can cantilever rack go outdoors?
Yes. Our structural I-beam cantilever rack can be used both inside and outside.
How fast do you ship?
